HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Decorating and putting presents under Christmas trees each holiday season is a tradition loved by many around the world.

This Christmas, some needy families in the Triad will be able to enjoy this tradition thanks to a group in High Point.

Friday, the Macdeonia Family Resource Center along with several other local businesses gave over 30 Christmas trees complete with decorations.

The trees were donated by Buck's Christmas Tree Lot in Thomasville. Volunteers also met with the families receiving the trees Friday to make sure they had some extra holiday cheer.
