GREENSBORO, N.C.-- When students, teachers and parents meet afterschool it usually involves sports or a conversation about the student and not a good one.
This was not the case Wednesday at Jesse Wharton Elementary in Greensboro. Some students, an Art Teacher and a Parent were there afterschool to donate their hair locks.
Their donation was their part of doing something on 'World Kindness Day'. Staff from a hair salon was on hand to cut their hair and bag it up for donation.
WFMY News 2's Photojournalist Don Richard was there for the action.
