GREENSBORO -- Women of all ages showed their support for breast cancer in their pink t-shirts for the Women's Only 5K Walk and Run.
The event helps raise money for the Mammography Scholarship fund at the Women's Hospital.
Doug Allred, spokesperson for Cone Health, said more than 3,500 women took part Saturday.
Emily Graham, a cancer survivor who participated in the event Saturday stressed the importance of survivors celebrating life. She says she's been running in the event for the past ten years and when she sees survivors and supporters each year, it is both a blessing and a wonderful experience.
Allred said the event raised more than 110,000 dollars in registrations.
