High Point, NC -- The general public got it's first look at High Point's only LEED certified school, Sunday.
The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (IHM) on Johnson Street is officially opening the doors to its new Parish Life and Education Center.
Officials say that the idea is to meet the growing needs of the community, offering classes from pre-k through the 8th grade.
The school also houses a gym, expected to host future basketball and volleyball tournaments.
IHM moved its school to the Johnson Street campus over the summer, The first students will begin classes August 21st.
