Greensboro, NC -- A local group is doing its part to put a stop to bullying in schools, but it needs your help.
Payton's Promise Child Abuse Prevention Center started its Anti-Bullying Book Bag Drive Saturday in Greensboro.
CAPC's goal is to raise awareness of the issue and provide students in need with book bags. The group has already raised 500 book bags through the program.
CAPC and Wal-Mart are working together on the drive. Saturday's event, "Stuff the Bus," will go on until Sunday at the Battleground Avenue Wal-Mart. The event lasts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
The program will end Aug. 24 when CAPC gives the bags to students in need at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
