Greensboro -- The Greensboro Tennis Program spent the afternoon working on their tennis game, but also dodging the most intense sun and heat the area has seen this year.
This afternoon temperatures reached 92, and the Greensboro Tennis Program has been practicing since 8:00 a.m. this morning.
Jason Allen, a former tennis pro and coach if Greensboro Tennis Program says the kids take frequent water breaks but the fight to stay hydrated the summer heat begins long before practice begins. He tells the kids to drink lots of fluids the night before.
Don't feel sorry for these budding stars because from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., they go to Lawndale Swim and Tennis for a dip in the pool to cool off.
