Greensboro, N.C. -- The Guilford Courthouse National Military Park celebrated Independence Day on Thursday by honoring William Hooper and John Penn, two of North Carolina's three signers of the Declaration of Independence.
There was a ceremony at the Signers' Monument and Grave. There was also a wreath laying and musket salute. But that wasn't the only event there was also an 18th century militia muster by the Guilford Militia.
Visitors also had a chance to sign the Declaration of Independence with a quill pen just like the original signers. There was also colonial demonstrations.
