Washington, DC -- There have been many attempts to bring Republicans and Democrats together, but a High Point manufacturer might have an answer: the bipartisan couch.
High Point furniture manufacturer, Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman displayed the "bipartisan sofa" on Capitol Hill Thursday to bring lawmakers together and to promote American manufacturing.
Edward Ferrell + Lewis was in Washington this week to receive an award from a national organization that promotes home-grown manufacturing jobs. The company also met with NC Rep. Howard Coble to explain their efforts.
Congressman Coble and Vice President of Operations for Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman, Gregg Arrington sat on the sofa together Thursday.
