Gibsonville -- Gibsonville Elementary's new sensory garden gives students hands on learning experiences.
Monday, the school open its new "sensory garden." Kindergarteners to fifth graders are planting flowers, herbs and vegetable to help them learn about the five senses and the miracle of how plants grow.
Teachers help provide the students with the tools and materials for the garden.
The project was funded by a grant, submitted by the school's speech language pathologist.
