High Point, NC -- Klaussner Home Furnishings is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Friday, during the High Point Spring Market, the company unveiled a commemorative portrait.
Klaussner commissioned Greensboro Artist William Mangum to pay homage to the company's employees.
Casey Spinks, who has worked at Klaussner for nearly 30 years is featured.
In a news release, Klaussner Home Furnishings President Bill Wittenburg said, "We wanted to show our appreciation for their hard work, and William Mangum was the natural choice to create this tribute to them."
Klaussner Home Furnishings is headquartered in Asheboro. The unveiling was in its High Point Showroom. The company will donate the painting to the Bernice Bienstock Furniture Library in High Point, the largest furniture specialty library in the world.
