Greensboro, NC -- Heavy rain and severe weather couldn't stop the supporters of Greensboro College's Second Annual Relay for Life event.
It was a fundraiser for cancer research. Students walked and honored those who were affected by cancer.
The event was moved indoors after the heavy rain moved into the area on Friday. People walked inside the Gail Brower Huggins Performance Center in the Odell Memorial Building. They raised money from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
Supporters say if you couldn't make it to the Relay for Life event, you can still help out by making a donation to the American Cancer Society.
