WFU Baseball Team To Help Victims Of Boston Marathon Tragedy

Winston-Salem, NC -- Wake Forest University Men's Baseball team needs your support in their upcoming tournament against Boston College as they try to help the families of the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy.

"We have four players on our team from the Boston area and, naturally, our team feels a connection with the Boston College Team and the city of Boston," said head baseball coach Tom Walter.

Wake Forest University is contributing ticket proceeds from its upcoming baseball series against Boston College to the One Fund Boston. It was formed by Massachusetts Governor, Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor, Tom Menino to help the families of the tragedy.

The three games against Boston College will be played during the weekend of Friday, April 19 - Sunday, April 21. All you have to do is buy a ticket and show up to the games to help the families of the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy.

The games will be played at the Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park. The Demon Deacons will take on the Eagles on Friday at 6:00 p.m., Saturday at 4:00 p.m., and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
Admission is $5 for all games.
