ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, NC -- Normally when patrons of the arts are asked to shell out donations, they are at least treated to a black tie event.
Well saddle up, y'all because this is anything but your normal fundraiser.
Try jeans, cowboy boots and barbecue, all to raise money for the Greensboro Ballet and Horse Friends, a therapeutic riding organization.
It's not Western, but English Saddle and Drusage. A paralympian rider said it's a great paring of ballet and artistic riding.
"From a personal standpoint April is limb loss awareness month and I'm representing amputees at this gala," said Robin Brueckman, Paralympian.
Brueckman, who is a successful competitor in drusage, has on occassion brought her horses to perform with the ballet.
But don't think dance took a back seat just because the event happened on a farm.
Guest were treated to a cowboy inspired dance.
