Virginia College Cuts Ribbon On Greensboro Campus

Greensboro, NC -- Virginia College opened its first campus in North Carolina during a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday.

Greensboro's newest college is a 60,000-sq.-ft. campus at 3740 Holden Rd.

Students, employers, business owners, city officials, and community members attended the ceremony. They took tours of the building, heard live music and learned about some of the opportunities that will be offered at the new school.

Virginia College is meant to train students for specific fields, including culinary arts, in the the area.

The school will be located at the former site of a Pottery Barn store near Wet N' Wild.
