Nags Head, NC -- A coastal highway that's had a great deal of trouble since Superstorm Sandy is closed again Sunday morning.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation has closed all lanes of N.C. Highway 12 south of Nags Head due to high water. The highway is closed in both directions from the Oregon Inlet to Rodanthe.
NCDOT did not give an estimated time for the highway to reopen.
Drivers traveling in the area should use caution and pay close attention to all posted signs.
