Police Charge 2 With Printing Own Prescriptions

High Point, NC-- Police in High Point have arrested two people for prescription drugs fraud.

Investigators said they got a tip that the two suspects were printing their own drug prescriptions. On Tuesday, Officers with the Vice Narcotics executed a search warrant on the house on W. Lexington Avenue in High Point and arrested two people.

William Robert Cain of High Point and Regina Denise Cox of Florida were charged in relation to this case.

William Cain was charged with:
Trafficking in Opium or Heroin
Conspiracy to traffic (2 counts)
Maintain a Dwelling for use, storage, or sale of controlled substance
Intentionally impersonating a practitioner
Attempt to obtain controlled substance by fraud/forgery

Regina Cox was charged with:
Trafficking in Opium or Heroin
Conspiracy to traffic (2 counts)
Attempt to obtain controlled substance by fraud / forgery

Cain and Cox are in the Guilford County Jail in High Point, each with a $100,000.00 bond.
