1 lb Ground Beef
1 lb Ground Pork
1 tbsp Food Lion Canola Oil
1 lg Onion
2 Jalapeño Peppers
3 can Food Lion Chili Beans
1 can Food Lion Diced Tomatoes
1 cp Tomato Juice
1 can Food Lion Tomato Sauce
6 oz Food Lion Tomato Paste
1 can Beer
1/4 cp Food Lion Chili Powder
2 tbsp Food Lion Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Food Lion Cumin
1 tbsp Food Lion Salt
2 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 tsp Food Lion Garlic Powder
2 tsp Food Lion Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper

1. Fry ground beef and ground pork in a heavy skillet over medium-high until cooked through. Drain and set aside.

2. In large pot, heat the canola oil and add 3/4 of the chopped onion and the jalapeno pepper; sautéing until tender.

3. Add the drained ground beef/pork mixture back into the pot and add the remaining ingredients; except the cheese.

4. Simmer for at least 2 hours and refrigerate completely before serving. Just reheat again and add the cheddar cheese on top; sprinkled with chopped onion.

5. NOTE: You may simmer the chili in a crock pot on high for a few hours the night before, and reheat chili again in the slow cooker the next day. Just place the crock in the refrigerator overnight.
