Greensboro, NC  -  As you get those little ghost and goblins  ready to go out this weekend, keep some safety tips in mind.

1) Remember a lot of these costumes have plastic involved in them.  This makes them flammable.  Always look for the little flammable sticker on these costumes and be sure to keep the kids away from candles and any flammable source.

2) A lot of these costumes can be very dark, but you still need children to be seen right?  You can do that with a light stick, which are chemically controlled and stay lit for hours. There is no on and off switch, so they can not be accidentally turned off.  Just apply it to the child's costume.

Another option is a glow stick.  Just break it and activate it.  It will start to glow and will glow for hours.  You can put it around the child's neck or waist if it is a very small child.

If you don't have any of those, a good old flashlight will work just fine.
