Masked Men Break Into Home, Beat And Rob Victim

Burlington, NC -- Police are looking for two men who broke into a Burlington home, beat a man and stole money Friday night.

Officers responded to 110 Roger St. at 10 p.m. and found a man lying in the living room with several injuries.

Witnesses say the men, carrying guns, broke into the house and hit the man several times before leaving the home with money.

EMS took the victim to Alamance Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released.

Detectives say the suspects are two black males who covered their faces with neoprene-style ski masks. They left the scene in a dark-colored, older model Ford Expedition and headed through the Cum-Park Plaza parking lot toward Sellars Mill Road.

Police are still investigating this incident and need the community's help finding the people responsible for this crime.
