Thomasville, NC -- A Thomasville man turned himself into the magistrate's office after officers found drugs, weapons and moonshine during a raid at his home.

The Davidson County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit spent five months investigating a home on Hogan Bowers Road in Thomasville. Deputies say this was the home of Preston Wayne Porter, 38.

During a recent raid at the home, detectives seized four grams of marijuana, 12.4 grams of methamphetamine, two grams of MDMA, 113 doses of steroids, 57.5 doses Lorazapam, two doses of opana, and 88 quarts of moonshine.

Deputies also found 16 long guns, seven handguns, and almost $1,744 in cash.

Deputies say Porter turned himself into the Guilford County Magistrates Office, though it isn't clear when he did so.

His court date is set for June 25 in Davidson County District Court.
