Police: Suspects Assaulted, Robbed Man In Wheelchair

Greensboro, NC -- Police are looking for two suspects who assaulted and robbed a Greensboro man as he road home in his wheelchair Friday.

Officers responded to Bywood Street near Patio Place around 8 p.m. in reference to the robbery.

The victim told police he was heading home from Phillips Avenue in his wheelchair when two young, black males approached him. That's when, the victim says, one of the men hit him in the head with a bag filled with a hard object, and knocked him to the ground.

The suspects stole money from the man before running from the scene.

The victim described the suspects as being about 15 or 16 years old.

Police are still investigating this incident.
