Davidson County, NC -- Deputies arrested a Winston-Salem man they say broke into a Thomasville home on Midway School Road Jan. 3.

After an investigation, deputies determined Desmine Shantel Treadwell, 20, was the suspect in the break-in. Investigators say Treadwell took the stolen items to a local scrap yard and sold them.

Officers arrested Treadwell and charged him with Felony Breaking and Entering, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and Obtaining Property by False Pretense.

Deputies placed Treadwell in the Davidson County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond.

His court date is set for Feb. 25 at the Lexington District Court.
