Greensboro, NC -- Police arrested five suspects in a car break-in and later found them to be the same suspects in a shooting on High Point Road Friday night.

Officers arrested Jose Garcia-Lesso, 19; David Rodriguez, 21; Sergio Lemus, 18; Jose Razor-Garcia, 17; and Serei Lemus, 26, in relation to these two incidents.

In the first, officers responded to the corner of High Point Road and S. Holden Rd. around 11:30 p.m.

The victim told police the Mustang, heading north on High Point Road at Obrien Street, fired six shots at his truck.

Investigators say only four of the shots made contact with the truck, and no one inside was injured.

The Mustang was last seen heading toward I-40.

Later, police found several people breaking into a vehicle at the corner of Patterson Avenue and Westbrook Street just before 2 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators later found these five suspects were also responsible for the shooting Friday night.

Police say the group also robbed a person, and broke into and tampered with a car near Wintergarden Lane and Merritt Drive.

All five of the suspects are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, breaking and entering, tampering with a motor vehicle, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and resist and delay of a law enforcement officer.

Garcia-Lesso and Rodriguez were charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
