Marijuana Grow Operation Found In Randolph County House

Asheboro, NC-- A man is facing charges after deputies said they found a marijuana grow operation inside his house.

The operation was found on Wednesday when the Randolph County Sheriff's Office Vice Narcotics Unit searched the house on Dusty Path Drive in Asheboro.

During the search, Detectives located an indoor marijuana grow operation and confiscated 9lbs of marijuana. According to a news release, they also confiscated some harvested marijuana and 62 marijuana plants.

Also seized during the search: numerous items of grow equipment including fluorescent lights, timers and transformers along with drug paraphernalia.

Eugene Kenneth Davis was charged with: Manufacture Marijuana, Possession With Intent To Manufacture/Sell/Deliver, Felony Possession of Marijuana and other illegal drug related charges.
