Three Arrested In Greensboro Attempted Robbery

Greensboro, NC -- Police arrested three men in an attempted robbery on Cunningham St. early Sunday.

The victim told police there was some sort of dispute outside his apartment between him and the three men. Police say one of the suspects then pulled out a gun and demanded money.

The three men forced their way into the victim's apartment, but they were unable to take anything, according to police.

Officers later arrested Javon Daquan Williams, Devonte Dashawn Wood and Lorenzio Reshaud Simmons in the attempted robbery.

Police charged Williams with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, First-Degree Burglary, Attempted Robbery, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Resisting, Delaying and Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer.

Wood is charged with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, First-Degree Burglary, Attempted Robbery, Identity Theft, Assault on Law Enforcement Officer, and Resisting, Delaying and Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer.

Simmons is charged with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, First-Degree Robbery and Attempted Robbery.
