Greensboro, NC -- The Greensboro Police Department has made an arrest in the murder of Jamal Muata Perry.
Police responded to a call on Martin Street on September 23 and found Perry suffering from a gunshot wound. Perry was taken to Moses Cone Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police arrested 28-year-old Landis Lamar Jackson of Greensboro on Sunday. He is charged with First Degree Murder and First Degree Burglary.
Jackson is being held in the Guilford County Jail.
Detectives are still investigating to determine a motive for the shooting.
