Police Investigate Stabbing At Rainbow Motel In Greensboro

Greensboro, NC -- Police said something transpired at the Rainbow Motel on N. O'Henry Blvd in Greensboro that ended with three women stabbed, one of them fatally.

According to Susan Danielsen with Greensboro Police Department, officers were dispatched at 2:24 pm to the motel on a fight in progress call.

A Guilford County Sheriff's Deputy arrived first on the scene and immediately took the suspect into custody. The suspect has been identified as 49 year-old Larry Cook.

The woman who died was 24 year-old Brittany Patrice Turner. The other victims are: Daysha Turner, 23 who had nonlife-threatening wounds and Pamela Turner, 47 who is listed in critical condition. Pamela Turner is the mother of Brittany and Daysha.

Investigators said they don't know why Cook stabbed the women. They were able to confirm that he was in a relationship with Brittany Turner.

Cook is in the Guilford County Detention Center charged with First Degree Murder.
