Prescott, AZ -- On July 24, 2012, detectives from the Partners Against Narcotic's Trafficking (PANT) taskforce arrested a man on Bird Street, Prescott, AZ.
PANT detectives said the man living at this home was identified by a photograph from North Carolina law enforcement officials for a kidnapping/homicide warrant.
The man identified himself as "Daniel Aspuro Gutierrez."
When Gutierrez was arrested, detectives found approximately 38 grams of methamphetamine and 6 grams of cocaine as well as a handgun inside the home. Gutierrez was booked on several felonies including Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale, Misconduct Involving Weapons, and the homicide warrant. He is being held without bond.
PANT detectives are still attempting to determine the Guitierrez's real name. They have confirmed that he is an illegal alien from Mexico.
The homicide warrant stems from a December 2010 case in Caswell County, North Carolina, where a gunshot victim was found lying alongside a roadway.
