Police Charge Mom, Boyfriend After Their Home Robbed Of Marijuana

Greensboro, NC-- Greensboro Police are investigating a home invasion where a gun was held to a child's head.

The incident happened today in the 2500 block of Fernbrook Drive around 3:15pm. Responding officers talked with Erica Jones who said she was home alone with her two daughters, when two men wearing ski masks kicked in her front door. ONce inside she said the suspects demanded to know where her boyfriend's marijuana was.

Jones said she showed them where the marijuana was after one of the men put a gun to her child's head. The suspects took almost 1lb of marijuana and some cash, according to Jones.

The suspects then duct taped Jones to a chair and left.  Jones said her boyfriend William Preston Cruickson arrived soon after and removed the tape and called police.

Investigators called the Department of Social Services (DSS) about the incident.

Police charged Jones and Cruickson for the remainder of the marijuana located in the house and with Child Endangerment.
