Mitt Romney says no way, no how to a third bid for president.

"Absolutely not," the 2012 Republican presidential nominee told The Washington Post. "This is a time for somebody else to carry the torch because I think they stand a better chance of winning."

Romney sat down over the weekend for The Post interview after making a surprise appearance at the Sundance Film Festival's premiere of Mitt, the documentary about his 2008 and 2012 presidential bids. The movie is getting buzz for showing a warmer and more likable Romney, with filmmaker Greg Whiteley following Romney and his family for six years in his White House quest.

Romney name-dropped Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker and his 2012 running mate, Paul Ryan, as potential presidential candidates for 2016 in his newspaper interview. "It's a long list of people who are vying for the job, and let them have the experience going through the process and let's choose one who could win," he said.

As for the movie, Romney said he appreciated that Whiteley did not go through much detail about the slog through the 2012 GOP primaries but believed Mitt failed to show "the depth of feeling that I have for certain individuals on the campaign team ... and people that were volunteers."
