Greensboro, NC -- More Triad doctors are performing more minimally invasive Orthopedic surgery.
Doctors are using robotics, high-tech machinery and minimally invasive procedures that can decrease both pain and recovery time.
Dr. Mark Warburtan, and orthopedic surgeon with High Point Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, told The Triad Business Journal, "Orthopedic surgery is moving toward minimally invasive techniques, specifically arthroscopic surgery for the elbow, wrist, knee and shoulder."
It provides cost savings by reducing time away from work, as well as less consumption of hospital resources.
