The Business Journal Analysis of the North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association, the number of cars and trucks sold in the 12 county Triad region stood at 4,188 last month.
That's a 17 percent increase from the 3,586 a year ago and a 60 percent jump from 2,617 in 2010.
