Gibsonville, NC -- Guilford and Alamance developers are looking at the 800-acre Guilford County prison farm for a possible industrial park.
The Business Journal reports "creating such a park would likely be a joint effort between the two counties and area cities that would then share in the tax revenue generated from the capital-intense data centers drawn to the site for its remote location and easy access to the power grid. But moving forward will require a master plan detailing what the front-end public investment would be to create a marketable site. "
