Greensboro, N.C. -- All 177 units at Greensboro's Heritage House have now been inspected. According to the city of Greensboro, "All violations, major and minor, are currently being entered into the system.

The city is on track to have all notices mailed on Friday to the owners of each property."

City inspectors found many minor violations and several major violations on the property.

A spokesperson for the city of Greensboro said, "Some examples of the major violations are missing smoke detectors, electrical outlets not properly wired, some electrical work performed without permits, and some heating units not working properly. Some examples of minor violations are holes in the walls, loose commodes, peeling paint, missing unit numbers, leaky plumbing, broken or missing locks, and broken windows. There were no criminal violations found during the inspection."

A petition signed by six community members prompted the city to inspect Heritage House.
