Don't you wish there was more time in the day or in the week?
Most of us stay pretty busy and if you're a parent, time management is even more important! So our friends at BuzzFeed shared a few ideas that could save parents time, headaches, and maybe even a few bucks along the way!
We know taking kids shopping can be a hassle. The blog A Beautiful Rukus suggested you try tracing your child's foot on a piece of paper next time they need new shoes. That way, you can leave them at home, supervised of course, and shop undistracted by the "I want that."
If you have a DVD case lying around, why not put it to good use? Recycle the case and make it a traveling art case to keep the kids occupied while you drive. You can find instructions here on Tip Junkie.
Does your child have a hard time falling asleep without you rubbing their back? Blogs said this trick worked for them. Find a glove and fill it with barley or beans. Be sure to sew it shut so it doesn't become a choking hazard. You can give the kid a few pats with it, then leave it there and and then sneak away. That way they'll still feel like you're there!
And this last one, is a little creativity to make your child smile. If they lose a tooth, get creative and give the tooth fairy a hand! Two blogs, The Southern Institute and 'Hideous, Dreadful, Stinky" teamed up to share how to dress up the door to help the tooth fairy get in, and how to make sure the kids don't miss her mark on the money left under the pillow!
