The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau shows credit card complaints come in second only to mortgage complaints. Of the 176,000 consumer complaints received from summer 2011 to summer 2013, 21% of them were about credit cards.
The CFPB handles complaints about billing disputes, changes to your Annual Percentage Rate, identity theft, fees and many other issues. They act as the mediator between you and the company.
You can submit a complaint on-line or you can call them.
