FEMA wants you to be prepared for any kind of natural disaster. Tuesday, the agency released the ReadyNC app.

It's designed to give users weather updates, power outage details and evacuation maps during any kind of disaster. You can also get real-time information about opened shelters for evacuees, real-time updates on flood levels of major nearby creeks and rivers, and real-time information on which counties have issued evacuation orders.

They also tell you how to come up with an emergency plan and what to put in your supply kit.

It's free in iTunes and the Google Play store.
