By now the all the family and friends are gone. The decorations are down. Clean up is not my favorite part of the holidays.

Karyn Greer with our sister station WXIA put the 360 Hurricane Spin Mop to the 2 Test.

Karyn took the mop to a first time homeowner.  MiYata Johnson is a first-time homeowner and mop expert.

"I'm always looking for that perfect mop," she says. "Either it smears everything on the floor, either it leaves a residue, it doesn't absorb -- there's always an issue."

Because MiYata has yet to find the perfect mop, she's willing to try the Hurricane 360 Spin Mop, which is supposed to swivel for a thorough clean.

After putting the product together, MiYata is ready to test it. The first thing she notices is its lack of swivel ability.

"It doesn't automatically swivel," she says. "I have to put my foot and just move the pole."

This is a tremendous inconvenience for MiYata. The mop also doesn't clean as well as she'd hoped. It soaks up water, but due to its soft nature, it doesn't scrub as well as her other mops.

However, MiYata enjoys the product's wringing feature.

"I think I'm more in love with this pedal!" she says.

The mop itself is $39.99, while the two mop head refills cost even more. That's why MiYata is not 100 percent sold.

In the end, she gives the Hurricane 360 Spin Mop one thumb up and one thumb down.

We found the Hurricane mop on their website for two payments of $19.99 plus $12.99 shipping and handling.
We also found it on ebay and amazon for varying prices.
