RALEIGH, N.C. -- Long lines, thousands of people in the state going hungry - all because of a computer glitch with the state's new computer system called NC FAST.

2 Wants To Know uncovered information about the track record of the company hired to start the program, Accenture. It turns out other states gave the company negative reviews.

Fly back in time to a 2007 Wisconsin legislative hearing on a failed voter registration system.

"Accenture can't program it's way out of a paper bag," said Beverly Speer of the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign.

That was three years before North Carolina hired Accenture - a technology and management consulting firm.

Across the country negative remarks pop up from Colorado to New York - even from the Canadian government. Others said the company was over-budget, delivering failed products and even receiving kickbacks and rigging bids.

Coming up Tuesday night on WFMY News 2 at 11, find out what other complaints there were, what North Carolina thought of the company before hiring them and what Accenture says about the bad reviews.
