Greensboro, NC -- Each week on WFMY News 2 at 5:30 during the 2 Wants To Know newscast Meteorologist Grant Gilmore answers your weather questions.

On Thursday Grant answered Jay Gallagher's question from facebook where he asked, "Is it possible for a storm to have multiple anvils or were we seeing two separate storms in close proximity?".

The answer: Individual storm cells only produce one anvil.  If storms develop in close proximity it can appear as though there is only one storm producing multiple anvil clouds.

If you have a weather question you would like answered in the 2 Wants To Know Newscast you can connect with Grant on twitter (@grant_gilmore), Facebook or through email atggilmore@wfmy.com.
