Greensboro, NC -- In all the shopping madness this weekend, you might not have time to do the usual chores around the house like cooking. A new product may help with that - the Pasta Boat. It promises "perfect pasta every time" cooked in the microwave and even says that it actually "does a better job than a pot on the stove."

You fill the product with pasta and water, and put it in the microwave for 18 minutes. Yes 18. At the same time we started a pot of water on the stove. By the time the microwave finished, the pot on the stove hadn't even started boiling.

Then you put the lid on and the Pasta Boat has a built in strainer. The Pasta Boat is selling for about six bucks. It looks good for everything from family spaghetti night to dorm room type cooking.
