Foxboro, MA (Sports Network) - The New England Patriots have claimed offensive
tackle Kevin Haslam off waivers from the San Diego Chargers.
Haslam played the 2012 campaign in San Diego after spending his first two NFL
seasons with Jacksonville. He has appeared in 10 career games and last year
made three starts at left tackle for the Chargers.
The Patriots released offensive lineman R.J. Mattes, who signed as a rookie
free agent earlier this month.
