DURHAM, N.C. - There's something about Virginia that always brings out the best in Duke.
Since David Cutcliffe took over the Blue Devils, they have beaten the Cavaliers more than anybody else in the Atlantic Coast Conference - by far.
Duke has gone 4-1 against the Cavaliers since Cutcliffe's first season in 2008 and 5-32 versus the rest of the league.
Another victory this week would move the Blue Devils (4-2, 0-2) one win from bowl eligibility.
Receiver Jamison Crowder said Tuesday that Duke brings "a little edge" to the Virginia game and "we kind of get up for it almost like Carolina."
The Cavaliers (2-4, 0-2) are 2½-point favorites this year despite a three-game losing streak and coach Mike London says it's a big game because "this is the next game."
