Augusta, GA (Sports Network) - Angel Cabrera birdied the par-4 10th on Saturday to move atop the leaderboard during the third round of the 77th Masters.

The 2009 champion was 3-under for the day and 7-under for the tournament. He is one shot clear of second-round leader Jason Day and first-round co-leader Marc Leishman.

Cabrera, who also won the 2007 U.S. Open, tripped to a bogey on the par-5 second, but bounced back with a birdie at the third. He also birdied the sixth and eighth to grab a piece of the lead.

Around the turn, the Argentine moved atop the leaderboard with a left-to-right sliding birdie.

Leishman played the front nine in 1-under par to reach minus-6, while Day was even-par for the front side to remain at 6-under par.

Matt Kuchar has the clubhouse lead at 4-under 212 after a third-round 69. Tim Clark carded the low round of the day, a 5-under 67, to end at 3-under 213.

Tiger Woods, who was penalized earlier in the day for an illegal drop on No. 15 on Friday, birdied the 12th and 13th to get back to minus-2 for the tournament and 1-under for the round.

Defending champion Bubba Watson, playing alone in the first group, carded a 2- under 70 to get to 2-over 218 through 54 holes.

Rory McIlroy was struggling all day. He had a birdie at the third, but has three bogeys, a double bogey and a triple bogey in his round. He stands at 4- over for the tournament and plus-7 for the day.

Phil Mickelson stumbled to a 5-over 77 to slide to plus-8 for the tournament and Keegan Bradley struggled to a 10-over 82 and fell to 12-over 228 overall.
