CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- North Carolina coach Larry Fedora plans to push his players for more in his second season.

His first team set school records for scoring and total offense on the way to eight wins.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Fedora says the success of 2012 is "not the bar for us" and that he feels "like we've just got a start."

Fedora says his team did a good job of building a foundation and a culture for a program that practices and plays at a fast tempo.

Last year's team averaged nearly 41 points and 484 yards per game, both setting school records.

The Tar Heels faced a one-year postseason ban from the NCAA for improper benefits and academic misconduct dating back to 2008.
