FORSYTH COUNTY:

The inspection report said raw seafood wasn't being held at a safe temperature and food in the refrigerator was left uncovered. The manager said they've corrected the problems.

The inspector said an employee was handling ready-to-eat food with their bare hands and he saw several roaches in the kitchen. We've left a message for the owner to see if they've made changes.

According to the inspection report, the hand sink was inaccessible. There was a dead roaches and other bugs found in a bin of bread
crumbs on a storage rack and there was a container of fruit stored below a pan of raw chicken.  The manager told us they're waiting to be reinspected.

The inspector said there was mold present inside the ice machine and only one employee was wearing a hair restraint.  The manager told us they've already fixed the problems and the inspector returned to make sure of it.

The inspector said employees didn't wash their hands correctly or when they were supposed to, there was mold buildup in the ice machines and some of the food items weren't cooked or heated to safe temperatures.  A spokesperson at Elon University told us they corrected the problems immediately and they've already requested a re-inspection, which should happen any day now.
