Indianapolis, IN -- A man with Indiana ties is on a very personal mission this month to help prevent childhood cancer. And he's certainly turning heads.
Darren Hayes is driving a tractor from Florida all the way north to Michigan, about 12-hundred miles. Along the way, he's stopping and doing parking lot performances.
He's doing it to raise money for Riley Children's Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House, in honor of his close friend whose daughter died of brain cancer. Now, that close friend is also battling brain cancer.
Hayes hopes to raise $25,000. His time in Indy also included a stop at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.
He'll end his trip next week in New Buffalo, Michigan.
