This happens during fall Saturdays, when strong and opinionated men gather together to talk college football.
During the third quarter of South Carolina's game against Georgia, USC assistant coaches Kirk Botkin and Deke Adams were caught by ESPN cameras arguing, jawing, chest-bumping and pseudo-shoving along the sidelines.
This happens: South Carolina's defense is struggling - though it just got a stop - and Botkin, the linebackers coach,? and Adams, the line coach, are feeling the heat of a potential SEC East Division title slipping away with each missed tackle.
So cue the fireworks. It ended as quickly as it began, by the way, and Adams and Botkin will assuredly share many hugs, handshakes and friendly winks in the near future. Defensive stops and SEC wins heal all wounds.
