Typhoon Haiyan Hits Vietnam, Philippines Devastated

TACLOBAN, Philippines  - Typhoon Haiyan has made landfall in Vietnam.

That's according to the Hong Kong meteorological observatory.

The storm has weakened since cutting a devastating path through the Philippines, where thousands are believed dead.

It is one of the worst storms ever recorded. The typhoon made landfall in northern Vietnam early Monday. T

he Hong Kong Observatory says the maximum sustained winds near its center are 120 kilometers (74 miles) per hour.
