Cambridge, MA -- More than 50 law enforcement officers from nine Boston-area police departments road their motorcycles in a memorial processional from MIT to the State in honor of fallen MIT Police officer Sean Collier.
Saturday's procession raised $50,000 dollars to help families of officers who died in the line of duty.
Collier was shot and killed on April 18 when he was confronted by the Tsarnaev brothers after the Boston Marathon bombing.
The event was created by Ride4Cops, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness and money to help the families of officers killed in the line of duty.
